It was a very stimulating October for our team, filled with interesting discussions and exchanges of opinions, while literally moving round the world.
We started with Wetex, the fair dedicated to the latest trends in matters of green technologies and renewable fuels, inaugurated during the opening days of Expo in Dubai. From there we moved to Lyon, to the Pollutec, the most significant event in Europe for the last 40 years on the theme of ecological and energy transition. Here, among the 150 innovations presented, we brought our Eagle Cloud, our propriety software that we developed in order to offer our clients an agile data monitoring instrument and O&M services in 4.0 key.
On October 26th, we could not have been missing from Ecomondo, the most important event on the circular economy in the euro-Mediterranean area. As well as the green economy and the development of a more responsible and sustainable business eco-system, this year’s edition, as was to be expected, placed a particular focus on the European Green Deal and the Recovery Fund.
We concentrated on the semi-dry Anaerobic Digestion, one of the strategic lines that we consider most promising for the near future, both for our company and the environment. For this reason, we brought with us a special guest: the Cow LAB. Created as a mobile laboratory for the starting up of anaerobic digestion in the bio-methane plant in Santhià, it is now at the disposition of anyone who intends to upgrade or improve existing biogas plants or for those who would like to evaluate the opportunity of integrating composting with anaerobic digestion.
It was exactly the case history of Santhià that was presented by our President, P.P. Cella Mazzariol, during the technical session of the XXIII Conference on Composting and Anaerobic Digestion.
At the close of this intense period of fairs, we landed finally in Shangai, for the fourth edition of the CIIE, China International Import Expo. In addition to us, there were only 100 Italian companies present in the area “Intelligent Industry and Information Technology”. Here, once again, the Eagle Cloud had a starring role. We are, in fact, firmly convinced that this innovative system of machine learning applied to waste management represents a real turning point in the running of treatment processes, also for the Eastern market.
